Hello Maryville

So, for the past 2 weeks my focus has been on moving house, from organising, packing, drop off trips, unpacking, getting settled. Apart from a few kitchen bits and bobs everything is finally done! I am having a little birthday party on Saturday and then after that I have time for crafty little afternoon treats! Expect some lovely little felt brooches and hanging wall clocks SOOOOOONNNN!!!

First post

Another blog, another first post to try and make less awkward. Being the first post I should introduce and explain afternoon tea, my blog and myself. So here goes..

I am a 20 year old graphic design student. When I am not handing in assignments late, I am chain-drinking cups of tea with my lovely little friend Jessie, working casual shifts at Tree Of Life and Coldrock, playing game after game of tetris, designing little treats and giving tummy rubs to my cat Steg, and my sweet little husband Maud.

Afternoon tea is a little design project I have started and would like to turn into something (amazing). It will be the name that I will design and produce little 'sweet treats' and hopefully *fingers crossed* do some graphic design work under. The logo that I have whipped up for 'afternoon tea' is at the top of this blog. It is simple and basic, and feminine. I like really cutesy, sugary things, hence the 'afternoon tea' name. I will be making little brooches and necklaces, and felt creations to sell very, very soon!

For the moment 'afternoon tea' updates etc will be blogged as I am not yet competent in the website side of things. It will also be a handy way of communicating with those 'afternoon tea' interested folk.
